- Things I forgot about newborns: spazzy hands, explosive poop, SO MUCH POOP! We've blown through 1 1/2 boxes of diapers already. Grow into your cloth diapers kid!
- Bear seems so easy, it's ridiculous.
- No more "new mom paranoia" and I'm loving it. Bear likes to roll himself onto his side to sleep. Sure, kid, go to town.
- Breastfeeding is hard but it's relatively easy compared to the routine we were on with Z (try to nurse, give bottle, pump while trying to soothe him to sleep, repeat). If I didn't have a toddler that is not amused by the amount of time consumed by Bear eating, this would feel like a breeze. As it is, the hardest part is Z being like, "AGAIN!?" every time I need to feed Bear. He does okay most of the time but every once in a while he snaps and is like, "NO MORE!" and tries to remove Bear or me from the situation. I'm hoping Bear either gets faster or starts reducing feedings soon.
- I totally get why people hate nursing covers now. It probably won't be so bad once Bear is better at latching, but it's so hard to get him to latch when I can't see him well, that it's ridiculous. I end up getting under there with him and this has made me nervous about going out with him for any extended amount of time.
- I'm tired, but I don't feel dead. However, I can doze off at pretty much any given time.
- Holy crap, we have two kids now.

Well, we survived the dreaded first two weeks. Here are my thoughts on this:
