I talked to the doctor today and I have to wait until September 11th for our first appointment. It feels forever far away. I wanted to go in tomorrow and have her say, oh yes, the test is positive, you are pregnant. It doesn't really feel real to me, I need to have someone else confirm it to me. Talking to the nurse made it feel a little more real but she was all, "ho hum, happens all the time" which is true for her but not for me!
So, the wait begins... 3 weeks until our appointment. I'll be just about 8 weeks by then, only one month left of the first trimester. We'll have our first sonogram to measure the baby and make sure it's growing and has a little heartbeat. I think I'll feel so much better once we get that behind us. I wish we could go before our visit home but unfortunately not. Oh well. I will just have to keep taking pregnancy tests to make myself feel better. And buy some more prenatal vitamins.
