I took a rectal temperature. I did it. Z felt so hot that I just had to know he was okay so I bit the bullet, busted out a "probe cover" and did it. Z apparently felt fine about the experience. He cooed at me and promptly pooped. Glad I could help you out with that buddy.
For the record, Z did have a low fever but apparently nothing to worry about and common after getting immunizations. But, I'm glad I wasn't crazy when I thought he felt hot. He seemed very cheery so I didn't really think he was sick but I just had to be certain. First time mom paranoia for the win!
