14 weeks today! I'm still not really showing but my pants have definitely started to feel tighter. I've been monitoring my weight gain and I am spot on for the lower range of healthy weight gain based on my starting weight and height so that's a relief but I feel like I've put on about 10-15 pounds versus the 4 I've actually gained. (Don't get used to this number revealing. I'll probably be more sensitive about it later.) I don't think it's really noticeable to anyone around me but Joe and I have definitely started to notice that my stomach isn't lying as flat as it once did. I can't really play the "stand tall and suck in your gut" game at all. My stomach just laughs and mocks me.
I think I'll be able to stay in my regular pants for awhile, and I have a few pairs that are a size or two larger that will hold me for a bit, so that's nice. But- the day is coming. I can't deny it much longer. Soon, the pants will not fit. Bye bye pants.
One more week until our next sonogram! I can't wait to get another look at the baby and see how much s/he has grown! It's going to be a very different picture this time. LB will have more than doubled in that time and I want Joe to see him/her wiggling around on the screen. I'm also impatiently awaiting feeling some movement from LB. I know it might be awhile, over a month even, but I'm hoping for some earlier detection.
