That ain't no dream, that's a nightmare!

I'm notorious for having crazy dreams- really vivid, strange dreams that I can remember in detail. I used to tell one of my coworkers about them nearly every day and one of my old roommates. I don't know why, I've always been this way. I feel like everyone who knows this about me has been waiting with baited breath to see what kind of wacky pregnancy dreams I have but other than a few dreams about having the baby early and coming home with no diapers, which isn't really strange, and a scary one early in my pregnancy that was also not strange, my dreams have stayed par for the course.

Until last night.

Ew.

Y'all, I dreamed that the baby stuck his/her hand out of my side. Not through my skin, it was like it was wearing my skin like a glove and I could put my finger in the the palm of his/her hand. TOTALLY CREEPY! In the dream I was panicking, trying to figure out what that meant and if the baby was okay, but then it just pulled its hand right back in and carried on, bebopping around. I woke up completely freaked out, feeling all over my stomach to make sure things were as they should be. LB was definitely wide awake and rocking out when I woke up, which I'm sure helped inspire my subconscious, but seriously, not cool subconscious, not cool.

  1. I had a very similar dream when I was pregnant with Isla. Very freaky. I don't know if this is a common pregnancy thing, but it was very strang. Luckily I only had one like it.

  2. I just enjoyed a nice giggle at the thought of you with a baby hand sticking out of your side :)
