Who ARE you?!

I'm completely obsessed with our 3D sonogram pictures. They weren't the best I suppose since LB was sleeping peacefully the whole time and there was a loop of cord in front of his/her face (which you can see as a distortion over LB's mouth in some of the pictures) but even so, that is a face. Our baby's face. The little face that we're going to be looking at next month. Little plump cheeks! A cute little nose! Crazy! I keep staring at all the weird, mildly creepy, pictures and asking myself, Who are you?! A little Joe? A little Sara? A little of both? What do you guys think?

In other news, babies are weird. They are all bendy and weird. LB is basically contorted into a weird knot of baby-ness. Somehow we've got a hand near the face, apparently bent back in a way no adult would consider comfortable, and a hand near a foot up by my ribs. Oh, right and LB's face is down by my hip. Now tell me, what type of sense does that make? I thought this sonogram might make me feel like I understand how LB is situated but honestly, I just feel more confused. All signs point to a mutant.
