Hello?

To state the obvious, I'm a first time mom, so I can't be sure.... I can't be positive... I feel so silly I almost don't want to type this... but, I can't resist. Baby, is that you?

Joe and I were having a quiet moment sitting on the couch when I felt a little ~tap, tap~ in my abdomen. Tap, tap?! Rumbly insides or wiggling baby?! I've never noticed my rumbling insides causing a tap, tap feeling before but I guess I'm waiting for something unmistakable, which probably doesn't really make sense. What do I think is going to happen? Some sort of code? "Baby, if it's you, tap twice for 'Hi!' Tap once for 'Stop poking me and get some looser pants, for Pete's sake!'" Probably not a reasonable expectation. 

I've had the "tapping" (a word I'm using for lack of a better one. It's really an odd sensation) for the past few days so I'm starting to feel pretty convinced it's the baby squirming around in there but I guess time will tell. If nothing else, LB is going to get much bigger and then I won't really be able to question it anymore.
