I've had terrible balance the last couple of weeks. Now, I understand that I'm never the most graceful human and I often get distracted and run into things, but I usually can maintain my footing. Years of jumping rock to rock in creeks with my brothers has made me pretty sure-footed. Apparently those days are over for now. I've been wobbling and stumbling like a drunken sailor. According to the ever delightful, What to Expect, this is not strange at all since my uterus is the size of a CANTALOUPE and throwing off my center of gravity. Well, sure. I can see how that might affect my balance.
Don't worry Mom, I'm being very careful with my new challenge. I hold the hand rail every time I go up and down stairs.
On a happier side note, I'm definitely feeling baby moving around which is very fun. S/he is getting stronger all the time so the little "Eh?" movements are becoming more like "Oh, hello. What's up?" movements. Baby is growing so fast right now, it's really astonishing. My belly is getting more and more pronounced, much to Joe's delight. He thinks my belly is pretty much the best thing in the world and I really couldn't ask for a better, more excited partner.
