Can YOU feel the love tonight?

If you can't feel the love, you maybe should have been at my baby shower because not only would you have felt the love but you would have gotten to have punch from a punch bowl that looked like a frog pond!

FROG POND PUNCH!
My sister-in-law, soon to be known as Aunt Becky, really pulled out all the stops for this shower, finding games that didn't scare me, including boggle with letter blocks, and making the entire experience very enjoyable for all involved.

I felt very loved by everyone who came and so thankful for all the people I will have in my life to help lend support when LB arrives. It was a great time to see family and friends, relax a little and get to be excited and enjoy having a baby instead of always thinking of my endless to-do lists to get ready. Thank you everyone for making the trip and/or taking the time to see me and the bump, you're all fantastic.

So I'm especially thankful to Becky and my mom for hostessing! So much planning and care, I was really overwhelmed by it.

Very thankful to my mother-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Leigh and Hannah, for making the trip down for the shower after having just had to deal with all kinds of travel drama, unexpected life events and other trying things from the previous week with Grandma G.G.'s passing.

Props to my brother and Dad for taking me to the baby consignment shop even though I doubt that was their idea of a good time... well... until Dad found the mobile of his dreams. I think after that the trip was well worth it to him.

And lastly but very importantly, I am thankful to Joe for being such a great spouse to me in spite of it feeling like the universe was against us and possibly mocking us a bit. Snowstorms, travel, work, school, grief, etc etc etc. and he held it all together amazingly. Even a very cranky passenger who emerged somewhere around Binghamton did not phase him. (Baby and I were VERY tired of being in the car at that point. It oppressed us.)

So, that is my shower post! Late in coming but I wanted to add pictures and I am the slowest at getting pictures from Joe to put on here.
