Who dat??

3D sonogram with video on Monday!! Let's see who we've got in there! In case you can't tell, I am VERY excited. Our little wiggler was so little last time we got a look at him or her (not counting the hospital sono, which was all business and zero fun), I can't wait to see the difference! Also, I finally can figure out how this kid is snuggled up in there. I'm completely mystified most of the time so I'm dying of curiosity.

I find myself wishing for some sort of x-ray vision more and more these days. What are you doing in there? Where are all my internal organs? Why was I ravenous for three days and now I'm like, "meh, food." Growth spurt? Why do you ignore me sometimes? Sleeping? I'm a very curious person in general but this whole process is kicking my curiosity up a million notches.

On a completely unrelated note, I finally went through all my winter clothes yesterday and pulled out all of the, "well, that's not going to fit again this winter" clothes. Now I don't have to search through piles of unwearable clothes for the few wearable items I still have. I would also like to say, for me, with my low riding baby, full panel maternity pants are my best friends. BEST FRIENDS. I wish I had bought them a month ago. Shame on me. LB is equally disappointed in me. No, j/k, LB is not even remotely disturbed, though I imagine s/he enjoys a less squished environment to live in.

ALSO! I am delighted that as far as essentials for baby survival, we are ready. We've got some diapers, washed clothes, baby hygiene items, a few blankets, a couple burp clothes, and really, that's all you need to keep a baby cozy and alive initially. I'm hoping this will put a full stop to my dreams about bringing the baby home, realizing I have nothing and feeling panicked. There are still a lot of things we need/want but it's a load off my mind to know that we're set for essentials.
